More stunning southwest Florida tennis news...Andy Bradley, one of the most popular tennis professionals in the area, has suddenly resigned his position as Director of Tennis at the Eagle Creek Country Club in south Naples - -just minutes from Marco Island. Bradley has had a distinguished 10 year career at Eagle Creek and is immensely popular with members and pros in the Naples and Marco area. Bradley is a hard-working, selfless winner who will be greatly missed. What will Eagle Creek do in his absence? Will the club promote their assistant pro Brian Acres?
Stunning news: It has been reported to us that Sterling Oaks has made a Director of Tennis change. If true, Head Tennis Professional, Dave Mix, has been promoted to the Director's role. We are told that Jan Smith is no longer at the club. We wish both Dave Mix and Jan Smith well. Sterling Oaks is an outstanding tennis facility with solid tennis programming and both Jan Smith and Dave Mix have done great work. Dave, originally from Racine, Wisconsin, is an outstanding athlete; he was a standout basketball player and tennis player from the midwest. Jan, hails from Louisville, Kentucky and she is a great organizer and well-liked in the Naples community.
